Edward Kim, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Korean-Uzbek Business Association, who is on an official visit to Uzbekistan, and affiliated companies, visited the khokimyat of the Tashkent region and met with the governor, Mr. Mirzaev Zoir, and discussed in detail the various projects currently being promoted in Tashkent region.
At this meeting, the progress of the Nurafshan New City Development Project, the establishment of the Korea International University (KIUF) in Tashkent, as well as solar energy projects were discussed.
In particular, the solar energy project plan was actively discussed at this meeting, and during meeting, Mr. Mirzaev, the governor of Tashkent region, asked to recommend Korean outstanding solar energy companies, and in his time chairman of the board of directors, Kim Chang-Keon, replied that he would select companies that meet the needs and support them for the early start of the Tashkent solar energy project.
