Chairman Mr. Kim Chang Keon(Edward Kim) made an official visit to Syrdarya region on April 13 to pay a visit to Governor Mr. Gafurjon Mirzayev and discuss various economic cooperation matters with the MOU on the automobile recycling project, which is currently scheduled to be established in the region.
At the meeting, Governor, Mr. Gafurjon Mirzayev, promised to give full support to the provincial government by successfully promoting the environmentally friendly recycling project and granting opportunities for outstanding Korean companies to enter Syrdarya region. In addition, Governor, Mr. Gafurjon Mirzayev, expressed his special appreciation for three Starex vehicles for disabled people that were recently donated to the region in cooperation with the Hwaseong Chamber of Commerce.
Chairman Kim Chang Keon noted that the Korean consortium representing "Evergreen Motors Group", a subsidiary of Eurasia Networks, will assist to accelerate the implementation of this project and, as a trade adviser to the Prime Minister of Uzbekistan, officially invited the delegation of the Syrdarya, headed by Governor Gafurjon Mirzaev, to Korea in the near future, and also stated that he will play a key role in the development of friendly cooperation between the association and the Syrdarya region and further economic cooperation between the two countries, with the support of establishing brotherly ties with excellent local governments and promoting business forums.
Meanwhile, for the car recycling project to be promoted this time in Syrdarya, four companies including "Evergreen Motors Group", affiliated with the Association, have formed a consortium and plan to invest about US $3 million in the construction of business facilities in Syrdarya, thereby promoting environmentally friendly processing to Uzbekistan and it is expected that this project will make a significant contribution to the development of the industry.
