On May 27th, an honorary doctorate of business administration degree was conferred to Chairman Kim Chang Keon at Sun Moon University's International Conference Center in the presence of Rector Moon Sung-jae, Vice Rector Choi Chang-ha, Dean Yeo Young-hyun, and more than 100 other key professors.
At the ceremony, Sun Moon University Rector Moon Sung-jae conferred the honorary doctorate on Chairman Kim Chang Keon in recognition of his contributions to the development of the university, the promotion of economic development and friendly cooperation, and the development of education between the Republic of Korea and Central Asian countries.
Chairman Kim Chang Keon expressed his sincere gratitude to Sun Moon University for the honorary doctorate and said that as an alumnus of Sun Moon University, he will continue to make efforts to contribute to the school's continuous development along with strengthening its global influence.
Meanwhile, on May 13, Chairman Kim Chang Keon was awarded an honorary doctorate in economics by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Tashkent State University of Economics in recognition of his contributions to the country's economic and educational development.
