On September 24, First Deputy Minister of Investments and Foreign Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan Laziz Kudratov held a meeting with Chairman Kim Chang Keon. During the negotiations, the results of the trip of the South Korean delegation to the Fergana and Namangan regions and the issues of activating joint investment projects and agreements reached following the official visit to the city of Seoul on July 6-8 of this year by the government delegation of the Republic of Uzbekistan were discussed. Kim Chang Keon informed about the opening of the KUBA representative office in the Fergana region, the coordination of further stages of the construction of multi-storey residential complexes in Kokand City, the organization of the production of cosmetics under the LYA Cosmetics brand in the Kokand free economic zone, as well as the agreements reached on the start of practical work within the framework of the construction of the Hyundai automobile plant in the Namangan region. Kim Chang Keon stressed that the management and member companies of KUBA will continue to make every effort to promote trade, develop economic cooperation, and will continue to actively work with Uzbek partners despite the pandemic around the world.
