On April 20, in the city of Kokand, a meeting was held with the khokim of the city of Kokand, Marufjon Usmonov, during which the ceremony of signing the Investment Agreement for the Kokand Hanshin Park City project took place. Speaking at the ceremony, Kim Chang Keon noted that the South Korean companies "Hanshin Engineering & Construction" and "PLUS International" in September will begin construction in the city of Kokand of a modern residential complex according to South Korean standards with 5100 apartments, a school and a preschool educational institution, shopping facilities and green areas. An underground parking lot will be created in the complex, over which it is planned to build a playground and a recreation area for the city's population. As a result of discussions and negotiations, the parties reached an agreement on the implementation of the Kokand Hanshin Park City project in four stages. The pilot project includes a residential complex with 216 apartments. The total investment will amount to USD 250 million and the construction will create 1,000 new jobs. In accordance with the agreements reached, the coordination of the project will be carried out by the KUBA representative office in the Fergana region.
