On January 11, Chairman Kim Chang Keon was awarded the Order of Social Contribution by the Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Association of Korean Cultural Centers in the Republic of Uzbekistan.
The Order of Social Contribution was awarded based on the government's official evaluation of the various services (medical services, cultural services, and various donation activities) that Chairman Kim Chang Keon has provided to the 180,000 Korean compatriots in the Republic of Uzbekistan over the past years. The Order of Social Contribution was awarded by Mr. Viktor Park, Chairman of the Association of Korean Cultural Centers and Deputy of the Oliy Majlis, on behalf of the Uzbek government.
At the delivery ceremony, Mr. Viktor Park, Chairman of the Korean Association of Korean Cultural Centers in the Republic of Uzbekistan, expressed his special gratitude to Chairman Kim Chang Keon for his various services and donation activities for 180,000 Korean compatriots with devoted love. Chairman Kim Chang Keon responded that he would continue to make efforts to promote friendly cooperation between the Republic of Korea and Uzbekistan, and further inspire the Korean compatriots' pride as the Korean people.
Meanwhile, Chairman Kim Chang Keon was awarded the Supreme Degree Do'stlik Order in 2021 by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Order of Diplomatic Service Merit in 2023 by the Uzbek government in recognition of his contributions to the country's economic development.
