On February 5, Chairman Kim Chang Keon visited Tashkent State University of Economics and held a meeting with President Tolqin Teshabayev.
During the meeting, a wide range of topics were discussed, focusing on cooperation in the field of education in Uzbekistan and academic exchange between universities in the two countries.
In particular, the discussion covered exchange professor and student programs, as well as dual degree programs to be established through agreements between major universities in Korea and Tashkent State University of Economics.
Chairman Kim expressed his commitment to actively supporting these initiatives through cooperation with leading universities in Korea.
Meanwhile, Chairman Kim has been appointed as a visiting professor at Tashkent State University of Economics since 2024, where he has been delivering special lectures on global economics and Korea–Uzbekistan economic cooperation.
