On May 19, Chairman Kim Chang Keon visited the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Seoul and held various discussions with Ambassador Mr. Bakyt Dyussenbayev on cooperation in the field of education.
In particular, at the meeting, it was agreed to collaborate on a groundbreaking project to actively attract international students from the Republic of Kazakhstan through multilateral cooperation between local governments, major universities, institutions, and companies and to directly connect them to employment opportunities, for the benefit of major universities that are struggling with the decline in the domestic school-age population and major companies that are facing difficulties in supplying workers.
Chairman Kim Chang Keon mentioned actively selecting and inviting outstanding students from the Republic of Kazakhstan through cooperation with major domestic universities that are actively conducting dual-degree and exchange student programs and constructively support and promote projects that guarantee their graduate studies and employment after graduation, especially in cooperation with domestic companies.
