On March 31, Mr. Anvar Oripov, First Deputy Governor of Surkhandarya Region, visited Hanshin University in Osan, Gyeonggi Province, during his official visit.
The event was organized with the support of Mr. Kim Chang Keon, Chairman of the Eurasia Networks Group. Major figures from Uzbekistan, including officials from the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Korea, attended the event as guests, and from Hanshin University, President Mr. Kang Sung Young, major professors, and Uzbek students participated in the event.
During the meeting, Chairman Kim Chang Keon, President Kang Sung Young, and First Deputy Governor Anvar Oripov discussed ways to expand friendly cooperation in various fields such as education, volunteer work, human resource development education, and cultural exchange. They also shared excellent policies such as promoting exchange students and language programs between the Surkhandarya Region and Hanshin University, and a tripartite MOU was signed to promote the interests of all sides.
Mr. Anvar Oripov, First Deputy Governor of Surkhandarya Region, said that the MOU is expected to be the first step in the active exchange cooperation and development of the two sides, and President Kang Sung Young conveyed that this exchange is a great opportunity for more excellent Uzbek students to learn about Korea through Hanshin University. He also expressed his special gratitude to Chairman Kim Chang Keon, who supported the signing of the MOU and acted as a bridge between the Surkhandarya Region and Hanshin University.
