On October 25, Chairman Kim Chang Keon visited the Uzbekistan National Quarantine Agency and held a meeting with Mr. Ergashev Ibrohim Kenjaboyevich, the head of the Quarantine Agency, along with key department directors.
The main agenda for this meeting included discussions on supporting market sales in Korea for products such as fruits (cherries, pomegranates, grapes, melons) and various vegetables and nuts produced in Uzbekistan, as well as assistance with quarantine licensing for Korean fruits imported into Uzbekistan.
Both sides agreed to immediately form a task force for related projects to facilitate active trade in the near future, aiming to increase trade volume between the two countries and promote development in the relevant industries.
