On May 8, Chairman Chang Keon Kim held an official meeting with Mr. Sharof Rakhmanov, Deputy Mayor of Tashkent City, at the main conference hall of Tashkent City Hall to discuss economic cooperation between the Republic of Korea and Uzbekistan.
During the meeting, Deputy Mayor Sharof introduced Tashkent’s new city development and industrial complex projects, and requested active cooperation in supporting the entry and investment of Korean companies in the local market. In particular, he expressed interest in and called for cooperation with affiliates of the Eurasia Networks Group.
In response, Chairman Kim requested special attention and support from the Tashkent city government for Korean companies currently operating in or planning to enter the Tashkent market. Additionally, both parties agreed to establish a direct “HOT LINE” communication channel to facilitate real-time cooperation and committed to maintaining close and continuous collaboration.
