Minister of Employment and Labor Relations of Uzbekistan Nozim Khusanov met with Chairman Kim Chang Keon. During the conversation, the parties exchanged views on cooperation between the Ministry of Employment and Labor Relations of Uzbekistan and the Association. In particular, they discussed issues of possible cooperation with the Ministry of Employment and Labor Relations, including the issue of supporting entrepreneurs operating in Uzbekistan with the support of the Association, as well as their work permits. Chairman Kim Chang Keon noted that despite the recent global pandemic, local workers' employment is gradually increasing as the association's partner companies are increasingly entering the local market through active investment, and therefore the Ministry of Labor should also be proactive in this situation to provides support and assistance in case of difficult problems. Minister Khusanov replied that he will give priority to any questions posed by the association. Also, at the request of the government, Chairman Kim Chang Keon, together with the delegation, went to the city of Gwangju, here they will get acquainted with the activities of the External Labor Migration Agency under the Ministry of Employment and Labor Relations and the Association of Uzbeks in South Korea, and will also hold negotiations with Mayor of Gwangj Lee Young Seop.
