On November 15(Mon), the 30th anniversary of Uzbekistan’s Independence Day was held at the Lotte Hotel in Sogong-dong, Seoul.
The event began with a welcoming speech by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Uzbekistan to the Republic of Korea Vitaly Fen and continued with a congratulatory speech by Park Jong Soo, Chairman of the Northern Economic Cooperation Committee, as a representative of the Republic of Korea.
The event was attended by about 200 people, including government officials from the Republic of Korea, ambassadors from 30 countries and leading businessmen and Chang Keon Kim, the CEO of Evergreen Motors company, attended the event as an honorary consul of Uzbekistan in Korea and a trade advisor to the Prime Minister of Uzbekistan as a host and main guest which also hosted the event.
On this day, the official event on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of Uzbekistan's independence became a significant event, indicating that economic cooperation and friendly cooperation between Korea and Uzbekistan has become a stronger strategic partner.
Meanwhile, in mid-December next month, Uzbekistan’s President Shavkat Mirziyoyev is scheduled for a state visit to the Republic of Korea.
