The Korea Uzbekistan Business Association, which was granted permission to open under the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy on April 2, will act as the Trade Representation of Uzbekistan, which was created in November 2018 to facilitate trade and promote exchange between Korea and Uzbekistan. This project has been finalized and expanded. The Association will officially support the promotion of domestic companies in Uzbekistan and facilitate the exchange of business with Uzbek entrepreneurs, various projects to promote friendship, support for Uzbekistan and development of assistance.
In particular, companies seeking to do business with Uzbekistan can join the organization as members of the organization and receive various assistance, such as political support, interpretation / translation services and reports necessary for promotion at the local level. In addition, various services can be provided to member companies, such as opportunities for opening new enterprises, joint investment support, organizing local investment visits, licensing agencies, tax and tax consultations, and arrangements with local partners.
Chairman Kim Yong Gu said: “It has been 28 years since Uzbekistan established diplomatic relations with Korea. The Association will play a key role for companies that have decided to enter the market of Uzbekistan. The Association also plans to promote the development of a successful business by providing various information and services.”
